Just after announcing the Mini 1000 netbook, HP is now unveiling another new netbook model called the Compaq Mini 700 in UK.

HP has recently announced a new model of netbook called Mini 1000.
The netbook will come equipped with Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, upto, 2GB RAM, up to 60GB 4200 rpm HDD or 16GB SSD, and a choice of 8.9-inch or 10-inch display.

Dell has recently launched Vostro A90 netbook for the Japan market.
The new Vostro A90 has all the same internal components as the Inspiron Mini, except for the all-black appearance, and a much higher price (¥92,830 or $998 US).

Lemote, a Chinese computer and chip maker has come out with a 7-inch netbook call Fuloong Mini.
Measuring 190 mm x 145 mm x 37 mm and weighs only .85kg, the Fuloong Mini could possibly be the smallest and lightest netbook around.

Last month, HP has unveiled a special edition netbook which was designed by fashion designer Vivienne Tam.
According to Engadget, the special edition netbook which has floral design on it, will be released this December and expected to be equiped with Intel Atom processor. Other specs of the netbook is unclear now.
