Dell Announced Latitude 2100 Netbook

Dell has just released a new 10-inch netbook, the Latitude 2100 which aims to target school children.

The specs for the Latitude 2100 netbook are similar to most other netboks todays: Intel Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB SSD, Windows XP, etc. What’s special about it is the thick, heavy chasis, with rubberized cover and anti-microbial keyboard. Dell is also offering an optional docking cart that schools can use to store and charge up to 24 netbooks.

Gateway Announced New Netbook Model

Gateway has recently announced a new netbook model, LT1001G which will feature an 8.9-inch screen, 1.6GHz Atom Processor, 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM.


The new netbook from Gateway is said to look pretty much like the Acer Aspire One, and it does not surprise us as the company has been acquired by Acer last year.

Samsung NC10 Listed for $480

The Samsung NC10 netbook has been spotted on a few online stores:

  • Bottom Line Communication – Metallic Blue version for $480.21
  • PC Nation – Both metallic white and blue version for $480.56

The availability and hardware specs are however not mentioned.

LG Announce Xnote Mini, the New 10-inch Netbook

LG from South Korea has announced a new netbook model, Xnote Mini, which is claimed to be the lightest netbook from Korean company.

The Xnote Mini is a 10-inch netbook with a customized keyboard for more comfortable typing. The rest of the features are pretty similar to other netbooks.

  • Wi-Fi and 3G access
