Both models will feature the new Intel Atom D550 CPU and the 1015PN will even be running ION 2. It will be interesting to see how these 2 new models compared to the others.

Asus Eee PC 1215N Reviewed – Best Netbook On The Market?

The much awaited Asus Eee PC 1215N netbook finally landed in the U.S. Why is this netbook such a big deal? Because it’s the first netbook to feature the Nvidia ION 2 graphic chip with Optimus technology which helps to save battery power by automatically switch between integrated and discrete GPU. So when play a 1080p video which require lots of graphic processing power, the Optimus will automatically turn on the ION graphic; while when doing normal computing tasks, the Optimus is smart enough to turn of the discrete GPU and just make use of the integrated graphic chip.

With a powerful dual core processor, Nvidia ION 2 graphic, and the Optimus technology, what you will get is a powerful yet energy saving netbook. According to review, this netbook can last for nearly 6 hours under normal usage, and the system performance beats every other netbooks on the market.
